Pablo's - Where Every Bite is a Delight!
Ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich for takeout and it was pretty hot (not overtly spicy which is good). The fried potatoes are addictive. Certainly something to treat yourself to every now and then.
Had a bit of a hiccup with my order but they bent over backwards to correct the mistake. Chicken is by far the best in town, potatoes and Mac and cheese sides are also delicious! I order take out but the bar has a great collection of pin ball machines!
Total hidden gem! We are staying nearby and wanted to grab dinner. Decided to walk around and came upon Pablo's. The menu looked good and was extremely well priced, and my husband was drawn in by the all-you-can-eat wings, and the patio looked fantastic! The menu consists of fried chicken - in pieces, in sandwich form and as wings. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with fried potatoes as a side (pictured). The sandwich was absolutely delicious and very spicy. The fried potatoes were also delicious - potato chunks instead of fries, and crispy and very well seasoned. My husband had the all you can eat wings and two sauces. The wings were full wings (not split) and southern fried - our server declared they don't eff around . And they don't. The wings were excellent on their own, but they have a variety of sauces you can add on for a couple of bucks each - you get a very good serving of each sauce. They also have a small but good variety of canned craft beers and cider. The patio is great and they have a bunch of pinball machines and other arcade games inside. The prices were great as well - all you can eat wings 2 sauces, Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with 1 side, 3 beers and a soft drink came to 56. They don't have a website, but trust me when I say this place is worth checking out for a meal. The service was great, the prices were great and the food was absolutely delicious.
First time here today. Really great place! Cheap beer, live music, a great patio, and they even brought us free some munchies while we were enjoying music. Inside they have some awesome vintage pinball machines and video games. We didn't try the chicken but we heard it's some of the best in the city. It was decently priced. Will try it next week! June 5th ....finally tried the chicken....absolutely stellar!!! 5 stars!!!
Are you kidding me? This place has the best fried chicken and pinball in Guelph. What a combination. The food is freshly prepared, and the staff is friendly. What else could you ask for? One of my favs.
The chicken here is delicious. I can't believe they have an AYCE special for full sized, fried chicken wings. Fried potatoes are a win for sure (think breakfast potatoes but bigger, more, crispier, and tastier). Love the retro pinball machines inside, and the patio outside is nice and roomy. Will be back!
The chicken from Pablo's is the best! It's crispy, juicy, and not greasy. I wouldn't order sides again though. The potatoes and macaroni & cheese were not good. 100% to the chicken though. I ordered delivery, so I can't rate the service or atmosphere.
I absolutely love this bar. The bartenders/bouncers are amazing! If you know how to really handle yourself at a bar, this place is amazing (and can't forget, this is the most affordable place to be as well). Been going here regularly for about a year now and I gotta say, the people you meet are amazing and the service is incredible. Obviously may not be a bar that everyone enjoys but if you stick around, really meet the crowd (even play some foosball with them ;) you'll love this place. I will be here for years to come and enjoy every minute of it. If you want a memorable night with an amazing local crowd and are willing to get to know the staff/regulars really well, this is the place to be!
